This is a reminder of the classes starting May 23rd 2009. I'm excited to be able to teach this information to students who are eager to learn. I know these classes are not for everyone. I provide them for those students who seek to understand more of the medicine, beyond what is currently taught in their school. There are no tests. This is not about a grade. But you will be challenged to look at the medicine differently from the test driven curriculum of Acupuncture college. I look forward to being your guide into the depths of the medicine! I'm excited to offer these classes and provide those students who want to be healers, not technicians, the tools and support they need to help others on a deeper level. I am excited to have the freedom and support to teach what should be taught, and isn't. I have worked hard to bring you two classes that I believe will excite you and inspire you. Foundations of Acupuncture Needling is a new book by Allen Stovall L.Ac. - This class is a experiential Acupuncture class in San Diego that allows the student to easily master all techniques from the Nei Jing, including modern techniques. Even students with no needle technique experience are encouraged to attend. Students with no experience are using freehand needle technique with confidence the first day. Advanced students are challenged to expand their abilities with practical clinical knowledge. This is a fun and informative class with no pressure for a grade. Highly informative and clinically vital. This is the only class of its type in the USA. You will not learn these techniques in Acupuncture school. Piercing the Truth: Cultivating the Healer is an exciting and inspiring class that will investigate ideas and philosophy of Chinese Medicine not discussed in Acupuncture colleges. Students have said it was highly motivational and inspiring. Does your Acupuncture school inspire you? Find the love of the medicine...once again! Needle Technique is the foundation of practicing the medicine. Go beyond the ordinary and learn vital methods to cultivate the Qi. This class will be supportive and highly instructional. I can only say you will be amazed at how much you are not being taught in Acupuncture school! This is a chance to learn techniques and theory not taught in Acupuncture schools in the USA. Although you will learn advanced techniques, it is suitable to first year students as well. You will learn in a supportive and relaxed environment. There are no tests, just education! This is a 7 week class, Sat 2:30-5:30 $150 SPACE IS LIMITED! Register ASAP! I-Ching Acupuncture Clinical Application and Tongs Acupuncture is a one of a kind class that opens up clinical possibilities previously unavailable to most students or practitioners. You will learn vital protocals and points that have been closely guarded. To know how to locate Tongs Acupuncture points, you would have to find them from other Tong points. This made it almost impossible to find the points as they did not relate their location with modern TCM locations. You will learn the protocals of I-Ching Acupuncture and the Tongs points as they relate to modern point locations. This is a supportive and educational class that is highly clinically focused. It is taught in a straight forward and easy to understand way. This is a 7-week class that includes the book, I-Ching Acupuncture Clinical Guide.
